Low Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear (GCS-0.4)

The GCS-0.4 type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is designed for three-phase AC 50Hz systems with a rated voltage of 400V (660V) and a rated current of up to 4000A. It serves as a low-voltage distribution device for centralized control of electrical facilities such as distribution, motors, reactor current limiting, and reactive power compensation. This switchgear is used in industries such as power generation, petrochemicals, metallurgy, textiles, and power supply for high-rise buildings. In large power plants and highly automated environments like petrochemicals, the switchgear is equipped with a computer interface for centralized control. This switchgear complies with the requirements of standards IEC60439.

Feature

The main frame is made of 8MF open-type steel, with mounting holes of modulus 20mm and 100mm, and a diameter of 9.2mm on both sides of the steel profile.

There are two types of main frames: fully assembled and partially welded structures.

Each functional compartment is strictly separated, primarily divided into unit, busbar, and cable types, with each unit operating relatively independently.

The horizontal busbars are arranged in a flat configuration behind the frame to enhance their short-circuit current resistance.

Cables enter and exit vertically: according to a three-phase five-wire or three-phase four-wire system.

Each drawer represents a unit, with sizes categorized into one unit, two units, three units, half units, and quarter units, resulting in five size series, with rated current for each unit circuit at 630A and below. The size variation of the drawers is limited to height; their width and depth remain unchanged, allowing for interchangeable units of the same function.

Each cabinet can accommodate a maximum of 11 drawer units or 22 half units or 44 quarter units. Drawer units have clear markings for test and extraction positions, and they are equipped with mechanical interlocks.

Environmental Conditions for Use
1.Altitude should not exceed 2000m (any altitude above this must be specified).
2.Surrounding air temperature should not exceed +40°C and should not be lower than -40°C, with a 24-hour average temperature not exceeding +35°C.
3.Relative humidity: when the surrounding air temperature does not exceed +40°C, the relative humidity should not exceed 50%; at lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is allowed.
4.Equipment should be installed in locations free from severe vibrations, shocks, and chemical corrosion.
5.The tilt of the equipment during installation should not exceed 5° from the vertical plane.
6.Earthquake intensity should not exceed 8 degrees.
