KYN28A-12 Indoor Withdrawable Medium-Voltage Switchgear is a complete indoor distribution device for three-phase AC with a rated voltage of 3.6–12 kV and a frequency of 50 Hz. It is used for power delivery in power plants, electrical systems, and substations in industrial enterprises, as well as for frequently starting medium-voltage motors. This switchgear meets the requirements of standards IEC-298, and features five protective functions: preventing erroneous operation of the circuit breaker, preventing the trolley from being pushed or pulled under load, preventing the grounding switch from closing under load, preventing power delivery when the grounding switch is in the grounded position, and preventing accidental access to live compartments.

Feature

The switchgear consists of 2 parts: a fixed cabinet body and a withdrawable section (trolley).

The cabinet shell and partition plates of each functional unit are made from bolted aluminum-zinc coated steel plates.

The protection level of the switchgear's shell reaches IP4X, while the protection level of each compartment is IP2X when the door is open.

This switchgear can be equipped with VS1 (ZN63A) or other specified vacuum circuit breaker trolleys according to user requirements.

Since installation, commissioning, and maintenance can be performed from the front of the cabinet, it can be arranged back-to-back in a double configuration or mounted against a wall.

Environmental Conditions for Use
1. Surrounding Air Temperature: +40°C to -10°C. The average temperature within 24 hours should be ≤ +35°C.
2. Relative Humidity: Daily average relative humidity ≤ 95%, monthly average relative humidity ≤ 90%. Daily average water vapor pressure ≤ 2.2 kPa, monthly average water vapor pressure ≤ 1.8 kPa.
3. Altitude: The elevation of the installation site should be ≤ 2000 m.
4. Seismic Intensity: The maximum seismic intensity should not exceed 8 degrees.
5. Installation Conditions: The switchgear should be installed in indoor locations free from fire hazards, explosion risks, severe dirt, corrosive gases, and significant vibrations. The design should meet rigorous standards under harsh conditions.
6. Condensation Control: In humid and temperature-variable regions, condensation may occur inside the switchgear. A dehumidification controller and heater can be configured as needed to maintain an automatically controlled environment, preventing equipment from becoming damp and avoiding condensation.
